Subscribing to the Science Shorts podcast means that your podcast
program (we recommend
iTunes) automatically downloads our latest programs to your
computer as MP3 files. Exactly when it does that depends on how you've
configured your podcast program's settings. Once you have the MP3 file,
you can listen to it even when you're not online. You can also transfer
the file to an iPod or other portable MP3 player and take it with you
anywhere.
