Even if carrots don't exactly help us see in the dark, sound advice certainly has the capacity to do so.  When we can't see our way in particularly dark and troubling situations, the sound advice of a friend or family member can help us find our way.

If we have had good and godly parents who have trained us in the area of honesty, the work ethic, and moral integrity, we are doubly blessed.  The principles they taught us will help us to realize a bright and fulfilling future.  The future will not seem so dark and confusing.
